In September 2019, I had the privilege of speaking at the world’s largest international float conference in Denver, CO about meditation, mindfulness, perception, and float therapy.

During this speech, I talk about a common thread between plant medicine, martial arts, meditation, and floating and share my experience of floating 30 days in a row.

Two Main Points:

  1. There seems to be a common thread of perception that is present between multiple senses of deep internal work (meditation, floating, plant medicine, and martial arts).

  2. One of the main insights from floating 30 consecutive days involved my perception on time itself. What if we were able to perceive the passing of time in a much slower fashion?

What is Time?

What if we had the ability to slow down time? What if we were able to sllooowwwww dooowwwwnnnn tiiiiimmmmmeeeeeeee? What if we were able to be more present when we make love? What if we were able to truly appreciate the moments we are in?

I believe, through deep personal experience, that floating and meditation have the ability and potential to do this in ways that we do not presently comprehend.

Floating 30 Days in a Row

Phase 1: Deep Relaxation - A Recharge of the Battery

Phase 2: Internal Patterns Emerging from Deep Relaxation

Phase 3: A Surge of Energy

Phase 4: Being DEEPLY Present in and out of the Float Tank

How Do You Experience Time?

How do you experience your emotions? How do you behave within a cold shower? Do you calmly breathe and the feel the moment as deeply as possible? Or are you mentally battling every milli-moment that is present, fighting to stay within your body?

I will leave you with this… How do you experience time? And I encourage you. Breathe a little bit deeper… Feel… the moment. Just a little bit more.

Please, enjoy!
